My first Princess Cadance needed a new tail so I kind of butchered her opening her up (the thread) and her hair was cut. I wasn’t too satisfied with the results especially with how it turned out I picked up saran instead of nylon for the tail and it felt very horrible. Also her trimmed hair started to not feel right even with styling. I thought if I ever come across another in a charity shop I would consider redoing her.
The time has now come. Two weeks or so ago I found another Princess Cadance and I decided the time has come to make the other Cadance better for myself. She wasn’t sitting right with me and the butchery felt pretty bad. I don’t like doubles in my collection and I had never done a full alternate rehair before so I decided I’ll do that.
I had glued her wings in place so I expected that to be harder to get into but it was pretty easy.
Anyway, here she is:
It feels now she is somehow serving some Argie pony vibes to me with that orange but I’m not sure which?
Also, the blue is from a blend I got at Christmas and it looked more grey in the blend. It’s a really nice shade of blue!
I painted her hooves using my straw yellow posca paint pen because small alicorns should have those painted shoes. She looks much better now!
I never glued her wings back in just in case I ever need to get back in there
I’m nicknaming her Alt. Cadance
