I'll post when paint is done, but here's
A) my first attempt at eye repainting. I will remove when my TE gems arrive!
B) a fun ALT for mimicking Mimic haha
C) 3rd attempt at sculpture and painting a horn for this Tootsie base...not perfect but underpainting with dark green and hitting the yellow highlights make it match a lot better to the eye. (Camera still picks up every flaw...) 20221018_092135.jpg20221018_092144.jpg

I love repurposing tails into my customs- partly not to "waste" stuff but also because they can turn out really full and lush in a way that brand new hair sometimes doesn't. I don't like my old Pony bases to look mismatched to their new perfect locks! But that's just me...

Wow! I think this mimic is looking awesome! The horn is great. :hearteyes:
 
i quite like the repurposed hair - never thought of doing that before, really gives an authentic look!! :hearteyes: i can't wait to see the TE edition!
