All the pretty art ATC swaps (pic heavy) NEW PICS!

New piccies page 6 (January 18th, 2012)

I've now taken place in a few ATC's and I've finally gotten around to putting them in a binder! And I figured why not show it off. Nothing fancy but I love them all and am so proud to have them in one place to show off! None of these are my art work, they come from various other ponies from here and the arena. The names of the artists are in blue by the card they drew. Enjoy all, I know I do! Sorry the piccies are kinda big, but all the better to view them!

Awesome! My sister (Starflower) did the Seapony one! ^_^ She just got her Fall ATCs in the mail yesterday. They're sooo pretty and really cool. Hopefully one day I'll do an ATC exchange too.
 
Forgive me if I sound stupid, but what does ATC stand for & what is an ATC exchange?? :confused: :scratch:

No worries! It stands for Artist Trading Card or Art Trading Card I forget which exactally. Basically we make our own Trading cards and exchange them with other members.
 
Whoa, did this get moved or just duplicated??? I swear I just replied to this in the show and tell section??
 
New Cards today!!

I just got these today! Another great ATC by Paradise Palms, Carnival/Fair themed.

These are the initial pencil drawings of the cards I sent. After I pencil the picute I want I get another piece of paper and ink them and color them with marker, this saves others from having to see all the mistakes I made and makes me look like a good artist! hehe

K I also just found these in the depths of my computer. These were the one's I sent for the First Tooth ATC, look, Candycane babies with first teeth! How adorable.

I found some more scans of previous ATC's that I made for others! Here's my four for the Band swap. I modeled them after the cover O a Pink Floyd album.

Wow, those are gorgeous! I've not participated in the ATC trades, but I've heard about it on deviantart. It's amazing to see how differently people draw their own ponies, and how much variety there is in the styles. :D

A few of my big favourites would have to be Baby Sunburst (envy you XD he's soo cute), Jupiter's Baby Moondancer, Xara's goldy unicorn, the Curt Cobin pony and 925cat's Newborn Shaggy. The first tooth candy cane ponies are really cute too! :3

p.s. when do they hold the ATC and is it open to those outside the US?
 
Silsha! *glomps* I've seen the ATC events pop up throughout the year. I generally hold one annually during the summer, though I'm not to sure about hosting another at the moment, least not this time.

As for out of the US participants, there shouldn't be a problem. When I hosted mine, I had no problems with it. I just asked that all US participants send an extra stamp or two to help cover postage for out of the country cards.

How does it work though? Does everyone send out the cards to the one person and they in turn send the cards out to the others in bunches? Or do people send them out to everyone else themselves?

The way we've done most of them here, I think is the ones who draw the cards send them the the person who is holding the ATC swap with an extra enveloped that is postage paid already or pre-stamped. They are ever so much funand we'd love tfor you to join in on the next one. I've even debated holding one but I can never come up with good ideas.

I wonder how that'd work with me though, since I don't think I can buy US stamps here to pay for the postage within US. o_O
