Adventures on eBay

I agree, it was odd! The eBay rep I spoke with said that it was odd they found in favor of her, as well. And sorry, I wasn't clear, I meant sending the horses to the correct buyer. The seller had given me her address. It just makes me feel like the whole thing was a misunderstanding somewhere, and maybe the seller thought I was trying to rip her off being that it was a brand new account with no feedback/auction history, etc. I just wish she had worked with me a little bit more. Things were just weird with her refund not going through.

My husband wants me to wait to send the horses to the correct buyer unless I get my ponies from her (at one point in our correspondence, the seller told me the other buyer had sent me the ponies already.) But I am worried it is a Christmas present that she's waiting on. :( If I do get the ponies from her I absolutely will send her the horses. I want to now, but hubby is fighting me on it to wait and see. I am more trusting than he is. :) Plus, I just feel like it's the right thing to do...

What a mess though, I really thought this would get worked out better. And now I'm super wary to bid on anything on eBay. I wish there were a way to block sellers. But I've got her name and will definitely check for that, now before bidding!

You could ask the seller if there is a tracking number for the ponies if the other buyer shipped. That might give you peace of mind if the other buyer had shipped the ponies.

Whelp, I disappeared for a bit! Sorry, the holidays got overwhelming for me & work ended up being busier than I thought it would be. :(

I did end up getting the ponies from the other buyer & shipped her horses to her. I gave the seller the tracking number & asked her to invoice me so I could properly pay her for the ponies since I did get them (and eBay had refunded me the whole amount). She ended up invoicing me the full amount, including shipping minus 55 cents. But I didn't fight it, I just wanted the whole thing over with. I finally bid on another pony on eBay (FF Snuzzle) and it's been shipped. So far, so good. LOL

Hopefully I will have no more problems on eBay.

Oy. What a mess, glad it got straightened out anyway.

Yes. I ordered five sets of 10 figurines on each, and got a Beyblade-copy of that bladethingie, a Twilight wallet, and some other crap.
Seller said they payed me back, but I never got the money back...

I'm glad you got the ponies and things worked out :)! (although seller could have maybe some sense with pricing after all the mess..)

In case like these you should open a case on ebay if it isn't too late. Paypal also got 108 money back guarantee so if ebay's (was it 30 days or more.. can't remember) guarantee isn't up to date anymore try paypal. You should get your money back because you didn't get the items you ordered.

Ah, I should have mentioned that this wasn't on eBay, but on a site called DHgate.
It was a couple of years back, so I can't get the cash back, sadly.
