This is probably the most overdue brag of all time. I've been with my fiance for almost 10 years now. In that time, the boy has bought me at ton of ponies, including well over 100 G1s, several G2s, and I can't even count how many G3s. This weekend I got the newest special pony from my guy in the mail - Peru Baby Medly! Her arrival inspired a small photoshoot of some of the other special ponies I've gotten from my guy. Here are the results! This is by no means all the ponies he's gotten me, but they are some of my favorites!

First, the newest member of my collection - Baby Medly:

The Argie Bride pony was one of those "just because" presents after we got engaged:

Baby Glory is probably one of my all time favorite ponies, and the second pony he ever got me. I love this pony so much:

Wow! What a sweat guy. My first G1 as an adult came from my husband as well. A very mint TE Speedy and my favorite pony of all times.

just wow! What a great guy, such wonderful ponies. He's definitely a keeper. :)

*claps* Amazing ponies! I love all of 'em, beautiful! *zoinks* Nice, very nice! Thanks for showing!

A guy that buys you ponies = LOVE :)

Lol so true ;) I'm so glad mine is supportive as well. *Looks at my Punzie and framed Skyflier picture he drew/colored* :)

That's awesome that he got you all those. They're all very nice gifts. I remember reading a post of yours of when he proposed to you with Baby Diamond. I think that was just the cutest and best way to propose to a pony collector. ;)

Wow! You better hurry up and marry that guy before another pony collector kidnaps him  My hubby hates eBay so I usually have to pick out the ponies myself and then he buys them, but it ruins the surprise :?

Aww, how sweet! And an amazing collection as well! I think my favorite was that he gave you Baby Diamond when he proposed...tears actually welled in my eyes, lol. My favorite ponies were all gifts from my guy, but I usually pick them out myself, so there's never an element of surprise.

Gah, those are so awesome gifties! And great pictures, too. :)

I'm kidnapping your man and making him my own, FYI. :)

Some the ponies are so beautiful! I'm way jealous! And I agree, the Baby Diamond and proposing is the cutest idea ever! Aww...

Sorry everyone, he's most definately taken;)

Several of the ponies above(including Baby Diamond) were purchased from my good pony friend Ashlyne. Apparently she's very good at keeping secrets, because I had no idea that he had Baby Diamond or any of the other ponies he's gotten from her. This past Christmas was a particularly pony filled one, and they all came from Ashlyne*waves hi* Thanks:)

Yes, the proposal pony was a wonderful surprise. The entire proposal was pretty funny. He actually tricked me into thinking we were taking a trip to Vegas, instead we went to Michigan(where we met). He took me out to a park we used to go to all the time when we were first dating. It would've been perfect, except for the fact that it was Michigan. In winter. At dawn. There was lots of snow. It was below zero, and windy. I was not dressed for winter in Michigan. I was so cold I would've said yes to anything if it got me back in the car with the heater. My fiance now calls Baby Diamond "the cold pony". She's white. It fits;)

 Aww, shucks, GOP  That's so nice. It goes both ways though - I always enjoy our exchanges, trades and sales and just chatting up a storm! And you've gotten me some great ponies being on the west coast there and all. Hunting for those "fiance ponies" was fun too.

Wow! Can I send my hubby to get lessens from your guy? (To be fair, he did buy me a Shell Belle one year for Christmas...) Gorgeous ponies and your photography skills are excellent! Your ponies look like they are in Glamour Shots here. :pegasus:

Wow!! That is so awesome!!! ^_________^ Congratulations on having someone so cool who you love who buys you ponies...!! They must mean the most to you, huh? :D

 Holy resurrected thread Batman!!

 But nice ponies anyways.

It is really very special that your guy would mark your special occasions with a pony as a gift for you. He must be really romantic. That is very loving! :)

Holy WOW this is the brag of a lifetime. You have a wonderful guy and I wish you two the best! Is he on the boards? Or how did he know which ones were rare or which ones you wanted?

Man, Baby Diamond on your proposal?? That is just too cute, and so perfect!

This thread is a bit old, but it couldn't have come back at a better time. We just got married! I'll probably post something on the friends board about it soon. We got married in Hawaii:) It was awesome. We've been back for a bit, but I'm still unwinding from all the craziness.

He's a great guy. He really is. Not just for the pony stuff, but in all things. We got married on our 10 year anniversary! We've been together a long time:)

Yes, all these ponies are very special to me, and not because they're rare. He's gotten me a lot of ponies over the years, and each and every one is special to me, no matter the pony or the condition. A lot of them have wonderful memories attached to them, especially Baby Glory.

He's had a bit of help picking some ponies. A very good friend of mine has become his pony source(Baby Diamond was one of hers). I occationally send him auctions of ponies I like. He used to go to flea markets looking for ponies. They called him "The Pony Guy". He was not amused.

CheeZpoofs - Thanks for the compliment:) It was a fun photoshoot. Love your name by the way!

ZOMG!!! *freaks out* Those are all incredibly beautiful and mint-looking! Wowzers! Congratulations, and most of all, thanks for sharing, I love posts like these!
