6 stall G1 carry cases. What do you know about them?

Hey all! I don't believe I've ever seen a dedicated thread about the 6 stall G1 carrying cases! I recently found one that I'd never seen before so I thought I'd get a little input!

Alright, so I've had several dozen of the US carry cases with the pink handle and pink snap/tab thingy pass through my hands over the years. They are pretty common and nothing to get too excited about.

But, I just got a yellow handled one with NO tab! :shockpony: It has 2 small velcro squares, instead. The grapic is a bit different, too. Sorry, didn't realize the pic was blurry until I got it uploaded!

See? No ponies in the windows on the long sides and no "carry case" text under the logo! WEIRD! This yellow handled case is also slightly smaller. The text on it is all the same although placed a bit differently. What's up with this case? Released a different year? Possibly Canadian?


I also have this case my mother bought for me and I don't know where it's from either. Graphics are a few babies and the Dance n Prance ponies. Also a cool little scene when you open it up and remove the plastic "stalls!" There is absolutely no manufacturing info on it or even a date. It is a single sheet of some sort of plastic... I can't really think of the right word. Like, slick baby place-mat material. Help me out! Where is this from?

I want to see your 6 stall carry cases or hear about the different ones out there. I know there's a Greek and a UK one! Do you live in the US with a case different case for sale? I might just be interested! And darn those high international postage rates! :madpony:

The top case is a first edition. :) Released with the collector ponies before all the uni/pegs and others came out. It's not impossible to find, but is less common then the regular 6 stall case with the open windows. I hope this posts, my internet has been so shoddy all day.

Well, that would explain the collector ponies I found in the case! LOL! Thanks, FF!

Nobody has any other carry cases? :sadpony: I really want to see them!
 
Which ones? I have the castle and baby US carry cases, also an earlier UK case. :) Oh, and stuff that honesty are just carry cases but were marketed as "luggage" for kids. lol.
 
I've had tons of this one, but only 1 of the larger castle case. I can only assume that this is the most common version.

I have the plasticky coated one and the one with the scene inside, only mine is completely missing the stalls... No idea where they came from, they were G1 and not in my collection which pretty much means I had to have them. :) My big hunt now is for a nursery case and a dream castle case... They are interesting though, aren't they. I need more shelves to display everything... I have completely run out of room!
 
I'm not a big collector of them, but I'd say there are at least 6 or 7 different ones and at least as many different languages.
Chrissytree is the guru when it comes to these, but I think she's more active on the Arena :)
 
Greek Case :)

I purchased this from ebay a few months back. Since I have Greek Blossom who seems to have cost only a couple bucks (came in a lot; months went by before I examined her closely enough to realize she was different so I have no clue who/where she came from, only that most of the lots we bought came at a cost of a couple bucks per pony)--um anyway, and since the case cost right around "only" $20 including shipping, I figured she deserves a nice stable. lol So here's the pics.

And I really really would like to get my hands on the one that folds out into a little yard and house (pic in first post)... Is that one HTF?
