Some of you might have noticed this girly in my sig pic if you looked :D I give you the latest addition to my Minty army, 3-9 Reverse Winter-Mint

I saw someone’s lovely reverse G3 Winter-Mint custom a few weeks back and I fell in love. I tried to contact them about trading, but since I never heard back I guess that means no, so I decided to make my own. And since Big Lots had just gotten some 3-9s in, I figured I’d do that instead. I like 3-9 Mintys, so it’s not an exact copy of the one I saw either. So yays!

Was originally a 3-9 PP; painted the gradient no the legs, redid the eyes and symbols, and lengthened the eyelashes so she’d fit with my 3-9 Winter-Mint better. I tried to mirror her symbols the best I could. She was rerooted with DH Envy nylon and Mint Ice saran hair. The hair clip came from the ’09 winter SB set; I didn’t have any nice printed green material for a scarf sadly.

It’s really interesting to put these two together actually, and see how much my painting style has changed in a year, since they’re so similar it’s almost like making a copy. I also think a pink Minty is epic-I mean, I’m all about the pink and it’s MINTY! I love Minty almost as much, if not more, than Glory. Glory and Minty-they’re my top two. And there’s a pink Glory I’m gaga over, so pink Minty=WIN!

OMG = those are amazing (as always, and you are just soooo super fast!) TOO CUTE!! but I have to totally get caught up on the lingo = 3-9's = so is that like after 3.5's but before G4's ?? I'm soo confused on the big heads, cannot keep straight...

and just love how you mirrored their poses = they are just a perfect pair :) yay to add to your minty army !

actually that's just what i call them since they came out in '09. as far as i know, no one else calls them that, most say 3.5 or "New Look" still. sorry to overly confuse you ^^;

it's also an easy way to recognize if a foregin person steals my custom pics because they'll label iot as "3-9 soandso" and i'm the only on ethat calls them that XD;;;

S-M-A-R-T!! (sucha bummer that there are idiots out there that steal tho' ... at least that's a great way to "catch" 'em/and hopefully shame them on that...)

OMG SOOOOOOOO CUTE!! I don't usually like the 3.5s but this girl is so charming I may have to change my mind!!
 
This has to be the most fantastic G3.5 (or 3-9?) pony I've seen! Minty is already a fantastic pony, but a winter Minty is even better! You did an incredible job on everything! :img67:
