Way back in the 80s, my mom purchased this Minty My Little Pony via a mail order. She wrapped it for my birthday or Christmas and then forgot about it. Circa 1999, We moved and I discovered the undelivered gift. I have been carrying around this MLP in the original package (plastic bag no box) ever since.
The pony itself is in perfect condition. The bag has a few small holes in it from a cat that enjoyed eating plastic, but no damage was done to the actual pony. I also still have 2 package inserts: An order form for the Pony Show Stable and another special offers order form. These indicate that Minty is a Collector's Pony. 1982 is stamped on the bottom of the hoof.
Any ideas on the value of this item? I'm considering selling it because I'd rather it go to someone who can fully enjoy it. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

well there's a blossom mail order on ebay for $95 so I would wager minty is in the same catagory range $50-$100 :) cool bit of history! Thanks for sharing that story :)
 
I've been looking on ebay as well and have seen some posted for around $200. I think it might be too hard for me to actually sell it. Thanks for the input! :)
