Happy Earth Day MLPTP!

happy earth day everypony! thought i'd make a thread for the occasion. like i say to myself, earth day should be every day. i often find myself feeling bummed that the holiday is not as celebrated as it could be. (especially nowadays)
to keep this on topic- feel free to share with us: who's your favorite earth themed pony? maybe you have a few faves. (ANY pony, ANY gen) they can range from being based on the weather, nature (wildlife, flowers, plants), the sea, insects... you name it.

some more questions!

what are your favorite animals or plants?
if you've traveled, where would you say was your favorite destination? if not, where would you like to go?
do you do anything special to celebrate earth day? if so, what?

i'll go first!

technically, i think my favorite nature themed pony would be G3 Sweet Breeze. i don't know why, she just has a certain charm to me & i love all the merch that came out for her. Thistle Whistle is definitely a contender, and she's currently on the way into my collection! i have Sweet Breeze already.

my fave animals would have to be cats, bunnies, chinchillas, alpacas, cows, and etc. i find fish and birds fascinating in their own rights, especially deep sea creatures.
i don't really know what my favorite plant would be. i like any sort of wildflowers that pop up around here- besides those, snapdragons, hyacinths, mums, oriental grasses, basil, etc are all very beautiful. weeping willows are some of my fave trees too.

sadly, i've not had the chance to travel much anywhere outside of the U.S- but if i do get the chance i would absolutely love to visit japan, the caribbean, B.C., germany, iceland, and a few U.S states (arizona, hawaii, oregon & washington, florida, louisiana).

her name would be Bumblesweet she's really cute! though, her and Sunset Sweety look incredibly similar lol

My favorite earth pony… umm… blossom! Purple purple purple! I love lilacs, carnations, verbenum, daphne, apple blossoms, candy tuft, lavender, and a the pretty fragrant flowers!

some of my favorite earth-related ponies are seaspray, aurora mist, keen bean, blossom, blueberry baskets, any of the g1 flower ponies...the list just goes on!

my favorite animal is probably a tie between cats and owls! dolphins, wolves, bears, and foxes are also up there for me.

I love Blossom, Princess Sparkle/Amethyst, Clever Clover, Prince Firefly, Prince Fauna, and Daybreak! I don't have Brilliant Bloom (I think that's her name: a Princess Brush 'n Grow) but she seems awesome....and I know someone will eventually mention Gusty (who I also don't have...yet!).

I used to watch the discovery channel for hours, and Marty Stauffer's "Wild America," I would pretend I was a million different animals all through childhood- well past four or five years old, so it is hard to choose.

How about a sad list? Tasmanian wolf, tarpan, passenger pigeon,

and a more hopeful one (if we act fast)-Javan rhino, green peacock, Prezvalski's horse, UGH!! And this mewing stray kitten outside my window that is demanding food right now!! :cornucopia: .......Alright she is fed.

I always loved animals that had limited flight-always found it so interesting: pheasants, grasshoppers, flying squirrels...and Tails from Sonic and Princess Toadstool/Peach! But I guess she is a human and a fungus-not quite an animal, lol.

I couldn't decide which animal I liked best. Wombats? Whales? Toads? Hawks? Ravens? Okapis?
... I'm one of those weirdos who talks back to animals that I encounter in the wild ... why should we pick one?
