I was thinking of the bonnets being like the Australian and New Zealand tradition of race day fashion competition, (normally closer to our spring & summer whereas Easter for us is closer to autumn & winter weather with the seasons shifted) where the hats become flamboyant joyful displays of colour and artistic structures. Is it similar for the Easter bonnet tradition but designed with the pony of choice in mind?

You are welcome to share photos here even if you don't wish to be in the contest, however the only qualifier is a 20 post minimum and you already have 13, only 7 more comments in the next few weeks and you'd be able to enter :)

Yes, Easter bonnets can be everything from dainty, pretty ones to big, bright elaborate ones! You can see our past contest entries in the first post to get an idea. You make the bonnet for your pony to wear :)

Me too! I didn't realize Easter was so early this year and I was afraid I missed it! It's so much fun and I love seeing all the entries:)

Getting some great bonnets!!

Yeah, I don't like when Easter comes in March, you never know what the weather will be.
 
I know this is super-unimportant, but just wanted to point out that it says "Prize will be mailed out: Mon. 4/2", and if 4/2 means the 2nd of April, that is Tuesday.
 
I've executed the bonnet, chosen the model, now I need to find a patch of moss down by the river and take photos.
