oh my god the transformation on Sugarberry is incredible!

and those look like tomatoes

Wow.....they look amazing now! :)

wow those look amazing :) what do you use to cover their symbols and do you cover their hair whilst you sunfade them?

i use painters tape to cover the symbols. i like it because i can still see thru the tape to see if i need to trim a bit of it. and it doesnt come off either.
although i do NOT reccomend using it on glitter symbols, found out the hard way with a honeycomb that is now much whiter but not so glittery anymore ;)

and i do wrap the manes in foil and i usually just remove the tails :)
sugarberry was a bit of effort since she has TAF symbols, i covered each individual berry and vine but it was totally worth it as you can see!!!

wow great job..they don't even looks like the same pony

No way that's the same pony! I'm glad they look so awesome now! Yay for the So-Cal Sun!

Well now I know where to send my ponies if i need sunfading lol

Holy crazy! That is so wicked, rock-on! Wowzers..

hehe I was totally thinking the same thing! She should be Sugar Berrytomatoes! hehe

Those fading jobs are fantastic! I agree with Pika, I know where to send my ponies that need fading! The Minnesota sun just doesn't do it here. Doesn't help that my southern exposure is now being blocked by my uncle ginormous new house he's building next door.

I showed these to my hubby, and he was like "no way is that the same pony" for sugarberry, he thought it was two different ponies, I was like NO haha, such a great job, yay for so cal sun :)

Omg they look amazing u wouldnt believe they r the same ponies. might be bit dense in asking this but what actually r u doing? ive heard of the term sun fading but what do u do cos your results are quite simply amazing.

well you cover all the paint with painters tape, wrap the hair in foil and then set them in a sunny window until the sun fades them to a bright white. it works with colored ponies too that may have marker on them but it takes much longer to lighten ink stains.
one more tip: set them on mirrors and/or put mirrors around them to speed up the process :)
