I've been going to yard sales for the last three weeks and I've come home with some good finds and I just had to share! It's been great to look forward to going to the yard sales every weekend, we've been renovating and well for anyone that's done it knows how crazy you get :bonk:So it's nice to have a break from the chaos and go out pony hunting!
Okay here's what I bought and what I paid! (some non pony items but I had to include them!) I really should take pictures, but I've lost my camera in the chaos!
Week 1:
Tin Plate with a beautiful Morgan Horse protrait - .50 cents
G3 Skywishes - .10 cents
Week 2:
Large painting of mustangs on the plains (very pretty, it has a name on the back and "fifth period" so I think it was a students work) - $3.00
G1 Concave Cotton Candy - .25 cents (saw a puff of hair on top of a bucket and though OMG pony!)
G1 Baby Firefly - .25 cents (found her under Cotton Candy, in a bucket of ninja turtle toys)
G3 Scooter Sprite - .25 cents
G3 Nanco Plush Sunny Daze - .50 cents
Week 3: (today)
G1 Parasol - .25 cents (again I was digging in a pile of stuff animals and say a puff of hair, and was thrilled to find a pony!)
G2 Unknown (yellow w/ buttefly symbol) - .25 cents (found in the same bin with Parasol I was hoping for more ponies but that's all I saw in there)
Schleich Gypsy Vanner Horse & Foal - .25 cents for both
Vintage Baby Cradle - $10 (so cute, I've always wanted one for my dolls but wasn't going to pay what I normally find them for, but I was shocked to get this one for so cheap, and that was the sticker price!)
So overall I think I've had a great haul lately and I'd have just been happy to get out of the house! I'm so pleased because hubby and I sometimes go to yard sales but not this regularly I've gone yard sailing like less then 30 times in the last four years, and haven't turned up anything other then two years ago I got a G3 purple baby for free, which was nice. I guess I had to have a pony drought for a few years after finding two whole bins full of G1's in good condition four years ago for $30.
