I apologize about the quality, my scanner hates orange and I keep painting ponies with plenty of that particular color.

Now the question: I was thinking about having some high quality prints made of this and thinking about donating half of the proceeds to the Red Cross for hurricane relief. What do you guys think of this?

I think it's a wonderful painting and I love it :)

It's a good idea to help the red cross but wait a bit before printing imo ;)

Well, I am going to wait a bit. First I want to see what reactions will be, how much it's going to cost and how many are interested.

I think its a cool picture (share it with the rest of us in straight jackets!) and a great idea! I would help contribute, but alack and alas, I am a poor college student. :(

Hi! You Wigwam is very nice, but I would hold off on makeing prints right now. Prints are pretty expensive and I would wait until you have more experience with drawing ponies with dimention. Using shadows and highlights to really bring the pony out. Also more details in the background would make it a truly stunning peice. Artists that sell their work are very skilled and practice for many years. I myself have only sold a few things, and I don't think I am ready to sell prints yet. Perhaps you can sell commissions to draw peoples pony personas for them to raise money for this great cause!
I do have a tutorial on the DA for shading ponies if you would like to see it. Actually if you aren't on the DA yet its a great place to grow as an artist. Lots of tutorials and crits and advice. As well as great artists to admire! Check it out if you aren't there already. Here is my gallery.

You are going in the right direction. Your ponies are going to be amazing!
