Ok so I really don't love my job but at times it does have it's little perks. I'm a video store clerk (hehe) and occasionally we pull old video's to sell. Just a couple days ago we got a bunch of boxes from another one of our stores and I found this...

wee, I had to buy it right away. We get a two dollar discount but only our manager can give it to us, I couldn't wait. Still it was only 3 bucks. The cover is faded on the front and it had a bad spot right in the middle that I had to splice but other wise I'm happy with it. There's only three things that make me go hmmm?? Why is Moochick (the troll like guy, right?) on the cover? Who is this guy?? He's not in the moive at all either.

hehe And I thought the covers for the new dvd releases of the show were bad with their art! *Note* questions are kinda rhetorical, I'm not looking for answers just pointing them out.

Its supposed to be Danny and Spike, Sparkler, Posey, Sundance, Firefly, Megan and Sky Dancer.. The art may have been done, as a promotional idea, before the actual film was made..
That's probably why moochick, Spike (with wings etc) and Danny are probably pictured.. I wondered the same thing about this video, very strange, but pretty cool demo type artwork.. And funny that they never changed it over time.

Actually the funniest part about this movie is that after watching it I remember Catrina, her lizard "friend", even the green stuff (witch weed potion) that she drinks but I don't recall any of the stuff about the ponies!! How messed up is that.
 
Those pictures are soo cool. I'd like to see them re colored and restored.
