who to draw and then paint?

i got a canvas saturday afternoon at big lots. i forget its size, medium size. anyways, i got it cause i wanted to paint some ponies on it. question is who should i put on it? depending on how small i draw them, i should be able to fit up to 6 to 8 ponies. so who should those 6 to 8 be? name some ideas. once i see the 6 to 8 i like, i will add them to the list. then when i am done with it. i will return here to show it off.
