One of my WIP is a team of four horses, I'm not saying more than that. ;)

But which color combination should I go for?

I'm torn between the classiness of a matching set of four, and the desire to have different ponies.
 
I have always liked the different colors yet matching set sets myself. Can't wait to see what you come up with. :)
 
Well the first thing that came to mind when you said team is a coach being pulled by Clydesdales. So I may be way off. I guess I was thinking of the Budweiser commercials. hah.

Given the voting so far, I have a black and a bay in progress. :)
 
what I would say is do them the same colour but as paints or just with different markings if they are meant to be a "team". I am sure they will look great whatever way you decide to go!
