okay so I was fiddling around on MS Paint and I thought I would draw a persona for Owen (who is actually a horse in real life) so here is my persona Scion and his persona...

now feel free to snicker/laugh as loud as you want... I was never very artistic...

Yes you ARE artistic! That is awesome! If only people knew MY drawing skills - they stink. I'm the kind of person who uses ripped graphics for all my projects, or takes existing images and cuts the background away to make a sprite. At least the latter is something that I can be proud of. :)

the brown one took like 2 and a half hours but I think he turned out pretty well... you guys are so nice to me -blushes-

if you have time you should make that art in to an adoptable for us!

I'm laughing because I was expecting to see something terrible. Your art is way better than mine. :)

if I can figure out how to get the line art from my other computer to this one I will probably make an adoptable at some point!! putting those on photobucket did something weird to the colours...

I feel there are no "bad" artists out there in the world, but every artist could use improvement, including me. I know there are lots of things I have to work on as do you. The best way to learn and grow as an artist is to take and accept constructive criticism, study drawing tutorials, buy books on drawing anatomy, etc...If you'd like, I can help you out, give you some critique and help you step foot into a new path of art. If so, just send me a PM and let me know. :) I dare not critique you in front of all these people though. I know for a new artist how humiliating and embarrassing that can be when it's not meant to be, it is.

its not that bad

its not that bad i am worse, you dont want to see how bad i am.

thats really good, never think you are really bad
The detail on the brown horse is lovely!

Aw Phoenix, I think your art is lovely. Like FizzyPop said, there isn't a wrong or right way to go about doing art, but there is always room for improvement. I think you did a great job and the best thing is not to get discouraged. Even the best artists need loads of practice. :047:

I got Fizzy to send me some tips so hopefully I will get better...
