CONVENTION Twilight Sparkle Goes to the MLP Fair -- MLP Fair Promo video

omg how cute is this lol

When you say this years last ever pony fair, do you mean last ever pony fair of the year or.. ever? :surprisepony:

It has been confirmed that 2022 is the last MLP Fair.
In Florida? Or everywhere? Sorry im not super well versed in these things because I've never had a chance to go to one. When saying fair is it just referring to this specific hasbro sponsored one in Tampa? Are all the others called something else?

No worries, @strawberrypony32, it can be a little confusing ;)

Hasbro is not currently sponsoring any My Little Pony events, and has not for many years. Hasbro has likewise not provided the event exclusive ponies for many years now.

The My Little Pony Fair and Convention is an event organized and hosted by Summer Hayes / @SweetTune. It has most recently been held in Tampa, FL, but has a history of moving around the country. https://www.mylittleponycon.com/ 2022 will be the last year for this event, ever.

Summer is also hosting Pony Fair West, which is a derivative of the MLP Fair (above), and will be held in California in September (see link above). I do not believe this event will continue after this year, either.

A convention is a gathering of usually several hundred to several thousand collectors and fans in one place. There are a few different ones around the world (UK Pony Con, Canadian Pony Collector's Extravaganza, The My Little Pony Fair & Convention, etc) but they all fall under the term "con" or "convention." Each is independently run and none are affiliated with Hasbro.

A pony meet is a smaller gathering of usually less than 100 collectors and fans. There are numerous ones around the world, including the one that I host, the MD Pony Meet (www.MDPonyMeet.com). Each is independently run, and none are affiliated with Hasbro.

Let me know if that helps ;)

Ah! That does help thank you! I had been calling them all fairs and conventions interchangeably so I got confused haha. Thats sad its the last "Fair" for now, but if conventions and meets are different than at least I have a chance to go to one someday still! :satisfied:
