Thinking of dyeing her or customizing, need advice.

So should I remove all the hair to dye her or would she be fine to dye with the tail? I found her at a thrift store and couldn’t fade the red mark on her face after months of trying to fade it.
I was thinking of just customizing her with maybe glitter or something but will MSC be okay to use on ponies? I’m familiar to using MSC on my doll customs but never had experience using it on mlp. Any advice will be highly appreciated!!

You can probably dye her with the hair/tail if you want the hair colored too, or if you can hold her just right so the body is in the dye but the hair isn’t, but I haven’t tried it so I’m not sure
And MSC is totally pony safe I’ve used it on several
