So, a couple things, first of all, I'd like to post a thank you here (even though none of these people use MLPTP) to my family and boyfriend for a great Christmas... check out this haul:
(Oh, BTW, I'm like, the only 27 year old I know that got more toys than practical gifts for Christmas, and it's hilarious!)
So, that was Christmas - and I'm so stoked, tri-language puzzles, 2 G4 FIM shirts, 2 Dream Beauties, a small Pinkie Pie tin, books, games, and the new wave of G4 Playful Ponies... Not to mention, large styling Pinkie Pie and Large Decorating version of Star Catcher, and an old G1 paperback, McDonalds 2008 Rainbow Dash.
SO - that's not REALLY what I wanted to post about. What I wanted to post about was - yesterday, to cheer me up (I was having kind of a sad panda day on Thursday), my boyfriend happened to find someone posting on Craigslist that said they had some MLPs for sale. Nothing major, just 2 opened but in the box G3s - one Butterfly Island pony and then Hidden Treasure with her box, but without the DVD anymore. She also said she had a "unicorn". At first she wanted $6.50 for all of them, but she agreed on $4 - since we had to make about a 40 minute trip down to meet her (ok ok, hold on - now I love MLP, but I didn't drive all that way JUST for MLPs, we went thrift-storing for ponies along the way...) So, I knew pretty much what I was getting except for the unicorn who, I figured was either some random G3 or a fakie.
When I look in the bag, what do I find?!?
BAM! TAF Buttons G1! I had never in my life thought that I would have gotten a G1 in a bag with 2 G3's that someone had. I am going to take pictures of her after I finish cleaning her up, but she was SOOOO dirty with nasty hair - now she's sparkly clean, and actually in AMAZING shape except for a little tail frizz. I am so excited to have "rescued" her from an unknown fate of ending up at some Goodwill in the bottom of a dirty old bin being forgotten. So currently, her hair is wet and waiting to be styled and then I'm taking some photos to upload, but I wanted to post this so bad I decided to post before pictures.

Anyway, I hope all of your ponies adventures turn out as surprising as mine did yesterday!
