hey all,

About how much are So-Softs (specifically SS Ribbon) worth in decent condition? I've been looking into collecting them again, and never got around to an actual value check. Are any rarer than others?

The second set is alittle bit more hard to find and highly wanted by many collectors. Ss crumpet being the most wanted, and ss twilight, ss taffy, ss angel and ss bangles tend to be on the more expensive side. Ss crumpet can fetch up to 60 usually. Taffy, and twilight tend to be 20-35 range. Ss bangles goes for about 12-25. Ss angel is usually 35-45.

The rest of the ss are not very expensive but all are very hard to find mint. Or at least in my search its been that way. Ss ribbon isn't rare, and shouldn't be that hard to find. Value wise I'm not sure. I can't imagine anymore than 15 for a mint one.

Hope this helps you out.

I've found many ribbons for under $10. Mint condition I'd say $17-$20 is fair. I found SS Twilight was the hardest for me to get. Whenever I found one with curly pink hair, and plush clean flock I'd lose as 2nd highest bidder (and I learned after 5 years after this pony to up my $65 max). I won my first gal for $68. and after the big price drop found another which I won for $26ish. Since I'm so picky about the condition of sosofts, I pay multiple times the going prices for many of mine.

If you're not fussy about condition you can easily find most of the so soft ponies for a few dollars each. even the second set will go for under $12 on ebay if you watch auctions and get creative with the searchbar (except crumpet. she's a favorite of many collectors and will almost always sell over $25). SS bride can easily be mistaken for SS Lickity, so even she can be found on the cheap too. :)

I agree, $10 should get you a very nice Ribbon. My most expensive ones were Taffy, Crumpet, Angel, and a perfect Wind Whistler. This is one set it pays to, er, pay more for, if you find one in mint condition. You won't regret it! :wickedwitch:

I remember buying an almost mint SS Ribbon with hardly any flocking loss for about $12. She's a beautiful pony with her colors.
