scratched twinkle eyes?

I've been thinking about this for a while now.. You know those cleaners that leave a polished finish and remove scratches from eyeglasses? has anyone ever tried this stuff on TE's?! I'm SO tempted to, but I can't find either the bottle OR the solids jar.

I haven't succesfully been able to repair their scratched eyes with it. You'd think there would have to be something out there that would repair them though.
