Hello all, I am Derrick/Alyssa, She/her, he/him. (I don't live in a very understanding part of town, and have learned to just not let it bother me how other's address me)
I'm here mostly because I found myself in a chance of luck, in which, I'm looking at the opportunity to move to greener pastures.
I was really, really into MLP FIM, back when it was airing every week. Got into the craze when the cutie mark crusaders theme was brand new, and as a Power ballad fan, I instantly fell in love with the show. I remember going to the movie theater when the MLP FIM movie came out. day one of it being aired. I was the only one in the theater, but I absolutely loved the movie.
But As My life became hectic, and I branched off from my family, states away, I found myself drifting away from the fandom, and the series as a whole. Am I still a brony?
I uh... I dont know to be exact. But I do look back at that time of my life with a high level of fondness. I made plenty of friends on forums, such as this, I even admin'd a facebook page. However, Living on my own, and living off of an artist/writers income has become quite... taxing. which lead me to completely fall away from the fandom, among other things. I legit dont think ive watched a TV in years.
Regardless. I may be obsolete, but I think there's a spot for those like me, who, still enjoy the Series of my little pony, Friendship is magic, as a whole, including the equestrian girls "spinoffs?" (Gosh, I just love musicals, i ain't gon' lie. xD)
Unfortunately, I'm... out of the loop with anything newer than the official my little pony friendship is magic movie. Life has just been too demanding on me to keep up, sadly. but regardless, If ya want someone to look back on those fond times, and Reminiscence, Feel free to shoot me a PM or whatever.
I wont lie though, I mostly signed up here to try to sell a large portion of my collection, I love my mlp merch quite a lot, but I have so much stuff already, And it'd be nice knowing it goes to someone who would actually appreciate it as much as I have. (Having funds to help me move also helps)
I'll hopefully be posting that later this week, if I'm able to clear up enough space to take proper pictures.
