Rehairing Twilight Help?

Hi I am trying my first shot at rehairing and I am doing Twilight, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I need her purple streak to go? Is it in the smallest row on the right like Glory's? I was just wanting to make sure before I start. Also any tips would be great, I read everything in the post about rehairing with thread, but I am using doll hair.

Those of you whom use needles, what size needle do you use because I have a bunch and none of them seem to reach, the one that does seems to thick to pull through the holes.

yes the samll third stripe is for the color stripe in the unicorn mane. i can't help you with needle size seeing as i don't use a rerooting tool. good luck with your rehair!

Ok thanks! She'll probably turn out horrendous but I can always redo it later, better than having a bald pony right? lol

I use a darner needle, it has to be a pretty thick one or it will break, I'm not positive on the size of mine its about and inch and a half long.

Hmm sounds about how long mine is...Maybe I have the right one I just seem to lose it in the head so do you guys use something else to shuv it up through other than your fingers? I was thinking of pushing it with a cork.
