I bought one from custompony (or something like that) and did not like it. I thought about trying one that I see on ebay right now and wondered if you all had tried it. She offers Saran with purchase and the ad is very detailed. Let me know what you think. :rose3:

Are you talking about the tool sold by debi255? I have one but I don't use it as I think that the needle is much too big. I know that she sells them with different size needles but the first one I ordered was too small so I exchaged it for the next size up but it's too big.

I haven't been happy with any of the re-hairing tools that I've bought since the one I had from LDD. By the time I needed to replace it she wasn't selling them any more. :(

I finally decided to start making and selling my own. So far I've gotten a very good response from the people who have purchased one. If you're interested you can find the info here: http://www.mlparena.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=203447/highlight=metal+rehairing+tool.html

Please don't think that I'm giving a debi255's tool a bad review in hopes that you'll purchase mine instead. This was my honest experience with the tool and the reason why I decided to make my own. You're welcome to go ahead and give it a try - I know of at least one pony customizer who is happy with debs tool and uses it exclusively.

I appreciate that honest info, I hope to hear more feeback before I buy another. I looked at the sellers info (debi255 sounds like the right one) and almost all the FB was positive but alot of them said that it arrived and they had not used it yet. That FB didn't really help me much. My big problem with the other one was that I experienced many plug splits and went back to the old fashioned way. Pop-girl, I am checking out your Arena link :)
