A Quick Note About Swaps:
I just want to mention my feelings about swaps. For me, anything given out of friendship will be loved and appreciated. I do not necessarily have to have something directly from my wish list...I love surprises! Hopefully you can get an idea from my wish list ponies and from the following section of the types of things that I like. Please feel free to be creative and have fun!
A Few Notes About Me
My birthday is January 9th, and I will be 32 years old this year. I loved ponies as a child, and rediscovered them a few years ago. My husband Matthew and I have been married for 6 years this year, and we have a daughter who is 4. She is a pony lover as well and has enjoyed "helping" me with the last couple of swaps.
My daughter has recently created a "pony family" to represent our real family. I am Gusty and she is Baby Gusty; her dad/my DH is Mimic, lol!
Our family includes three birds and Mishka, the most amazing cat ever. Mishka means "little bear" in Polish.
Except for a short break when my daughter was born, I have worked since 2003 at a camera store and photo lab. I now also teach photography and do some freelance newspaper work.
I also love making jewelry out of "repurposed" costume jewelry. I am constantly searching Goodwill for old silver chains, glass or stone beads, and anything interesting I can make into something new. My current project is making sterling earrings and charms featuring vintage and antique BUTTONS! I am also starting to explore "Steampunk" style.
I would like to learn Mandarin Chinese before I die. I studied it in college and spent nearly a year in China, Indonesia and Taiwan.
I love baking (and cooking occasionally). I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in NY, and it was one of the greatest experiences ever.

Pony Dislikes:
G1: Generally, I'm not a huge fan of BBE babies or babies with the rotating necks. I'm not that into Dream Drifters or non-pony Ponies (like Cha Cha llama, etc).
G2: I don't like ponies with rotating legs.
G3. With few exceptions, I'm not a big fan of 3D symbols or anything in "donkey pose."
Ponyville: I'm not in love with the anthro ones or the ones with removable hair.
My Other Collections:
Art glass, glass paperweights, weird brass or wooden bells, Woodstock wind chimes, Schleich, Steiff
Hobbies & Likes:
Baking, photography, jewelry making, MLP stickers/confetti/party supplies, my pets (a tuxedo cat & a little parrot), anything related to Chinese culture & cuisine, music. I LOVE LOVE LOVE collecting original art, especially when it is made by friends.
Favorite Colors:
Blue & Orange
Snack Likes:
I have no allergies & like almost all snacks. My favorites are things like Peach Rings, Twizzlers & strawberry or cherry licorice. I do not like "red" flavors in anything else, though. I do like orange or grape flavors.
Pony Condition:
I prefer to have ponies in as near-mint condition as possible. However, nobody's perfect and I can still love ponies with little paint rubs, hair trims, small marks, etc. I am a little sensitive to smoke and generally prefer smoke-free ponies, although I would make an exception for a grail pony. I prefer not to have ponies with cancer or severe body damage only because I'm not that good at restoration and customizing yet. I especially love ponies with soft, silky hair.
