Found these at Target in the trading card aisle for $2.99 a bag.

Each bag has two random ponies in it (you can see which ones through the window in the front of the bag).

There are five in all (no Twilight):

Some of the manes don't fit the other ponies very well (Rarity's horn is in the way for example), but they're still fun to mix-n-match:

I've also heard they are available at Party City as singles only they don't carry Applejack.

At least that's the first thing I thought when I saw the mix and match hair results.

Well, I was thinking G3 Cupcake rather than Starlight, but I thought the same for the rest. Hmm, I suppose if you want to go with an all G1 theme, it could be Candy Kisses instead of Sparkleworks.

Those are erasers? Who'd ever want to use a pony eraser?! Especially when they have these awesome interchangeable manes and tails! (Loving that Rainbowshy especially, but then I am a bit of a Wind Whistler ho...) I can only imagine how they'd look the more they got used... Legs slowly disappearing, then butt, until there's nothing left but a head.

I can't imagine how anyone could use them either. There are also some erasers made in blind bag molds. Target has six different ones in their $1 bins - Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Sassaflash, Fizzy Pop, Lily Blossom, and Flower Wishes. I also found a set on clearance at Toys R Us that included Pinkie and Fluttershy. They seem to be intended more for play since they include a "play scene."

The Target ones are a bit bigger than their blind bag counterparts while the ones from Toys R Us are close to the same size:
