Pony hunting in mainstream stores (UK)

I decided I would actively search for ponies on my trip to town and they appear in more shops than I initially thought so here are the findings.

forbidden planet - G1 celestial ponies
tkmaxx - explore equestria G4 articulated ponies (twilight sparkle, rainbow dash, miss pommel) and an opaline
the entertainer - the same sad G5 shelf which hasn’t changed in months
poundland - fakies and a singular G5 princess petals set
cancer research - a pinkie pie sea pony which was really nice to see, i was close to buying her
GAME - a big talking reboot pinkie pie and a couple of G5s on sale
toytown - a 40th anniversary moondancer plush and some G5s
HMV - the big jumper thingy and some hidden dissectibles blind boxes
a local vintage toy shop - some G1 ponies but i didn’t know if they were a rip off because i don’t collect them

As for the prices on the G1s, I would consider the prices I can see on most, like the babies, to be nearly double what you find them for online or from private sellers.

I don’t know. I think Thundercloud says $110 & I can’t find one cheaper the $225 (on eBay).
The babies were like $10 - that’s fair I think. No shipping required?

Thundercloud was £150 and not great condition, but yeah no shipping!

No thats pounds. That's more like ~12USD for common ones. The local pricing on the Mountain boys will be different than ebay since US sellers/sellers offering international shipping will price them higher because we never got them in the US.

That’s a really good point too about them being local and I didn’t even look to see it was euros, oops!
