Hey guys, I recently bought something from a seller that wasn't very honest. I bought a playset on a Dutch site that was incomplete and broken. With the playset came G3 Star Catcher, but I don't think I can save this pony.

She has had a haircut and is incredibly frizzy, and probably needs re-hairing. She also has a little discoloration on her ears, and her wings look a little broken. I do like Star Catcher, but personally I would like to get her in a better condition. But I know a few people on here are into fixing up these poor little ponies, or making custom ponies out of them, so I would like to give her away to someone who can give her a new life.

@Emillia do you own a flat iron? Her hair really doesn't look that bad. Some leave in conditioner or fabric softener sand a flat iron on low will fix her hair right up. I'm not very good at restoring. I can clean a little and fix frizz.

I've already tried that. She looks much better already, but her hair is still so dry I don't know what to do with her anymore. :(
 
Even with fabric softener?! Wow. Well if you put it up in friendship ball freebies someone will snag it quick. Or you could try selling it. It would only go for about $3-5 here. But might go higher there.

Yes, even with fabric softener. I also gave her a hair mask and left it in over night before. I tried a light oil treatment to get rid of the dryness. Nothing really worked so far, sadly.

What is "friendship ball freebies"? Is it not on this site? I haven't found anything with a search.
 
I'm so tempted to bite, but I already have too many ponies 'banked up' to restore. I hope she finds a good home!

There are some pinned threads to read. The basic idea is you offer it for free, they pay for shipping. A great way to find new homes for anything.
 
It may have restrictions for how long you've been a member..... try just putting it in want to sell for just shipping cost.
