plasticiser leakage timeline?

When a pony is leaking plasticiser, around how long do you expect for it to go completely hard? A few weeks? Several months? Several years?

Also, I bought this lovely Pony Bride, and she is rather hard. Are Pony Brides naturally hard/structure of her body makes her rather strong, or am I lucky to have an already hardened one?

My pony bride is a little harder then some of the earlier year's ponys. It might just be that pose. I have the colorswirls ones and they're harder plastic then say, my Firefly. It might just be the way it is, as far as plasticizer leakage, in my experience several months to a year or 2.
