I always bid about more than I'm willing to pay Just so I don't get outbid by a few cents or a dollar. That way I can think to my self, wow..someone is paying WAY too much.....

If you want to pay only $16, Bid $19 or so. That way it's on a few extra dollars, and then it's gone for too much so you can feel too bad.

I can only think of one worse scenario.... being SNIPED by someone at the last SECOND of an aoutction for a german starshine and losing by 20p!! (yup, twas my fate)
