I put Nightmare in quotes because prepping this custom so far has been such lol.
I am using one of the large styling Princess Celestias that talks.
I planned on doing a custom tutorial but after starting decided against it.
There were 4 pegs that were glued in VERY well hiding the screws that held her body together. I wished it could have been as easy as just popping them out but it wasn't :/.
Since the plastic on her body is a hard plastic and not soft like regular MLP's I had to take my exacto knife and carve slowly down to the screw :C. Which took forever and made a horrible mess. Thankfully I came out with no injuries .
After getting to the screws and pulling her apart (which also wasn't easy) I took out her wings and all the mechanical stuff inside. I then filled all the holes I made and the one that was left after removing the button with apoxie sculpt.
I sanded them down and this is what she is now. I sanded the body lightly as well since that type of plastic sometimes doesn't take primer well without a bit of sanding.
I have A LOT more to do with this custom. Some more holes to fill and wings/armor before I put any paint down.
Even though she was a pain to take apart I adore Nightmare Moon and I know this custom will be worth it.
This is a WIP thread for her. Right now I am waiting for a hair order to get in before I start on anything else.
