Hi, my name's Hunter (he/him), and I'm new here! I joined the forum because my boyfriend Chance asked nicely. I'm a long-time MLP fan (grew up watching G4), but I'm new to customizing/collecting, and I've mainly done G4 ponies so far but I'm interested in older generations as well! I have a variety of interests, none of which are related to each other, but my main passion is definitely music- I'm going to school for music education! One fun fact about me is that I own a pet axolotl, named Tanaka.
Great to meet you all and I can't wait to spend some time here!

Welcome to the mlptp! We’re an eclectic and fun group. Great to have you!

Welcome to the herd

Hi, nice to meet you! Music education sounds fun, what age group do you plan on teaching someday? Also like @OctoberMoon said I’m sure we’d all like to see a picture of Tanaka! My brother wanted to get an axolotl too but wasn’t sure it’d be a good idea with cats

Welcome to the MLPTP!

Okay, gonna confess, had to google what a axolotl is LOL I agree, must see pictures of this little creature :D

Welcome!! We have fun here!! Be prepared to share photos of Tanaka, aren't those the walking fish thingy? Hope you enjoy it here!

As requested, here’s a pic of my boy! I got him at an animal expo around a year ago, along with a 20 gallon tank and a filter! He’s a cute little GFP leucistic :)
As for music education, I want to teach high schoolers- my dream job is to be a high school band director, so I can direct marching shows!
Hello Hunter and welcome to the MLPTP!

I flipping LOVE Axolotols! I've actually been doing a disgusting amount of research about them and tank requirements to safely and humanely keep them for a couple of years now. I too will insist on seeing photos of Tanaka.
Axolotls are really easy to keep! As long as they’re on a sand substrate (they’re dumb and will eat gravel if given the chance, which can make them constipated and kill them) they’ll tolerate pretty much any decent water conditions. The Caudata forums are a great place to start if you have any questions about raising your own axie!

Aww cute! I didn’t know there were yellow ones :D
And nice directing marching bands sounds like a cool job to aim for

Welcome aboard the board! YAYS! Fresh meat!

I mean... new friends! Yes, that is what I definitely meant. Yup. :lolpony:
