Hi!! I'm Grace. I am unfortunately sick in bed right now, and was wandering around the internet feeling lonely and bored, indulging in MLP content, when I stumbled across this site. I am very excited to meet a community of collectors! MLP is a very important part of my life, I have been collecting since I was a little girl. I focus on collecting G3's (not everybody's favorite, I know). I especially love art ponies and Comicon ponies. Any pony that breaks out of the box of traditional pony aesthetic is the pony for me.
My favorite pony in the world is The My Little Pony Fair UK Exclusive, "Sunny Grace". I am so happy everyday to see her in my collection.
A little about me outside of ponies: I am a recent college grad (with a art history degree), a professional artist and a freelance illustrator. I love to read a good book, especially something fairytale based, or a classic children's novel such as "Alice in Wonderland" or, "Peter and Wendy." I love wild and unique fashion, and I weightlift.
I am excited to meet you all!
 
Hi pony friend, welcome! I collect G1 ponies just in the last few weeks have started an interest in the G3s. There are a lot of folks on here that collect them too. I hope you enjoy it here!!

Aw that’s too bad that you’re sick :/ but welcome! G3 is definitely my favorite as well :lolpony: I’d love to see your art sometime if you like sharing it. Good book choices too! Alice has always been a favorite story of mine

I am finally feeling better, although I'm still stuffy. I can see that everyone here is so kind, I appreciate the support!

Welcome to the MLPTP! Sorry, you're sickly :( I think a lot of people like G3, I'm a G1 collector mostly but I have more than a handful of G3. The seasonal themed ones are my favorite.

It's good to hear that G3 may have a better rep than I had thought. On the internet I mostly came across people poking fun at their "blocky horse heads" :cry: ..which I guess is an accurate description, but I like it. :p I like the seasonals too, especially valentines-themed. I'm a sucker for pink and red color-ways.

Comic-cons are underrated! They are what got me obssessed with ponies again as an adult. I'm also a comic nerd, so you can imagine how they got me going. :D

Ah I'm so glad!! I was afraid I would find most people didn't prefer them. I have a kind of weird style, like a mixture of old-school punk mixed with some kawaii? I love combining black with bright colors. I have a "crust" vest I made myself that has some cool pony patches I made! I'll try to find pics to show if you'd like.
I think more people should be open to creative fashion, glad to hear you're stepping out.

I definitely spotted Junko Pony but I’m not sure about the others ^^;

Haha! Thank you!! "Providence" is based off of The MLP Fair Rohde Island exclusive, "Providence"! She looks like this,
