NEW Ponies!!!!

Still no luck around here. I have been to 4 different Dollar Generals around western NY and nothing. Nada. Zip. I did find one buried Star Dasher that didn't even have a price on it. *sigh* I did pick up some beadband wigs to use for custom hair though. I found pale pink, light purple and lime green.
 
Oops I didnt realize they already had pics of them on the arena :roll: ohwell. But I will still post the back cards :)

I'm surpised I found them! Well the first one I went to just had old ones, and then the one I was going to go to first, had them! Still so surprised cause I never seem to find anything, heh!

Me either... I've checked my stupid family dollar over and over, but still nothing! Grr!
 
They are lovely, misty blue is adorable.
 
i think someone mentioned that the current family dollar ad shows the mom & baby sets, and that a new ad should be out for october, so maybe these ponies are going to be brought out then?
 
I just got back from my FD, and I didn't find them either. :( Ah well, I'll check back sometime in October. Maybe by then they'll have them in. I want Peachy Pie and Autumn Crisp for sure. I'd have to see the other two in person before I get them

I only found the mommy/baby sets, of which I got one of each since I didn't have them. Does anyone know the name of the baby that comes with Petal Blossom? There's no name for her anywhere on the box (I got the only one they had of this set). Or do I have an oddity? :?: The baby is greyish green (or at least that's the way I know to describe it) with light pink mane and dark pink tail (with tinsel in both), and she's got blue twinkle stars and pink/purple flowers as her symbol. The other two sets I got have the name of the baby pony on the front where it says 'free baby pony', but this one only says 'free baby pony' and doesn't give the name of her.
 
TwinTwosGirl, it sounds like Baby Flower Flash who was initially not named. (She-who-should-not-be-named!)

Why is it that they didn't name her on the package?? That's kinda weird for a MLP. Usually they all have names.

(Bear with me here. I'm new to the G3's. So I'm not 'up' on all the news about them just yet. I only started collecting them a week ago.)
 
as far as we can tell, they just didn't have a name picked out for her yet. when she was first released, hasbro put a note up in the FAQ that she and the purple baby just didn't have names. then when they were rereleased they got named flower flash and romperooni.
 
WOW~~!! They are all so beautiful! I'm lovin' them all, they are indeed most beauiful!

New Info on the Family Dollar Ponies:

No wonder these are hard to keep on the shelves! I went looking at a new Family Dollar store I don't usually go to, and I was all set to be disappointed, as they didn't have any on the shelves. But I checked the trolleys full of unopened merchandise and--Behold! I found a box unopened that said Hasbro-My Little Pony! I was so excited, but tried not to get my hopes up, since it was a small box. I thought maybe it had more of the tiny plushies.

Well I got permission from the check out lady to open the box to peek and sure enough, it's the special four! Well, I'll tell ya--I bought the whole box right there! I didn't even open it all the way. Well it was only $24 for the whole box, so I did some math, that's 8 Ponies. I thought "whoa, is that right?" so I opened the box in the car--yup indeed, 8 Ponies. 2 of each kind. That was the ENTIRE shipment, there were no other boxes of the Ponies on the trolley, and none on the shelves.

If Family Dollar stores are only getting 8 of these Ponies at a time, no wonder they're so hard to get a hold of! :shock:
 
I thought I should have moved that over, but I'm so tired! Thanks for reposting that, Dragonflitter...that doesn't give me much hope for finding more, though... :cry:

I found them in ONE store so far, and we have tons of FD around here. If each store gets ONE box, with two sets, that will leave a lot of people hurting to find them.

we can only speculate... so far it looks that way, but only because we have no info stating otherwise.
 
That's what I figured. That's so werid to have special ponies for family dollar. Looks like I'm going to have to be getting them on line.
