My first G2s! To decard or not to decard?

OK, I'm not too keen on the adult G2s, they kinda look like giraffes. But I love the G2 babies! So cute!

I just won these little cuties on ebay.

MOC Dart and Dash (French packaging)! Woot!

Now the question is... do I keep them MOC or open them up? I hear G2s don't do so well when they're MOC.

I think you should keep them moc. They will be worth more moc. Not only that but if you want them loose you could always trade the moc for loose g2 baby twins. I personally wouldn't unmoc them.

What do you mean they don't do well moc??? I've never heard that before? :scratch:

bad things happen to G2s in cards, I've heard it too. major discoloration and things (mold also?) from being in the bubble, and "sweating." I don't know if the babies apply though, you need to wait for someone more G2 savy I guess!




But I still think they're adorable =) I don't like G2s much but I LOVE the babies, I gotta get some too.

If you should keep them MOC? That's really up to you. I would, but that's just me... Everyones got a different opinion about that.

It's so hard isn't it? My biggest problem is that I get urges to rip them out and brush their hair and etc. I MUST control my desire. :lol:

It's a hard one, self restraint is not MY thing :wink: BUT! I also don't like having accessories floating around....carded they keep everything together uncarded they are beautiful AND their babys!

I am just like that. I have some G2 MOCs now, but I really want to get them outta there to brush them and you know, get a closer look, etc. But I know I'll be kicking myself if I did that because they are the only MOCs I have- well, except for a few G3s, but those don't count.....yet!

I'd agree with Kar, keep them on the card until you can't stand it, or try to get some loose G2 babies. Who knows? My G2 MOCs look fine- not gross or deteriorating, but then again I'm not sure how old Princess Crystal is, so she might start her gross-ness soon. Then I'll open her. I really want to play with her crystal ball too, that's why it's so hard!

:lol: The temptation! I'm not the only one! But I do agree that in the long run it is probably better to keep them mint.
