My first "altered pony" + a new one =)

I don't want to call it a custom because she's kinda pathetic. lol But I wanted to show her off anyways. I just used a sharpie and a glitter pen. I want to start trying more customs and am going to order hair soon to try rehairing. But since everyone's got a first custom, I thought I'd let you all see my first attempt. lol

Thanks for all the complements!! I got brave and went out and bought some acrylic paints (I don't know if they're the proper paints to use, but they seem to work). I made a custom for my boyfriend. He really likes the program Soulseek, it's a file sharing program and you can chat using it too. So I made him a pony with the logo on it. Tell me what you all think!!

The front is a soul/bird-looking thing, and the back says "SLSK" which is an acronym for Soulseek and has some music notes. My boyfriend loved it, so I'm really proud.

Hehe I think she's really cute! And the raised symbol is different and brave for a first attempt...you dont ever want to set eyes on my first attempt at a custom!!

my first attempt at a custom is well hidden in a box- I tried to cover all of masquarade's body with a black sharie except for the symbols and around the eyes.

*notes that sharpie never really 'dries' *

don't give up - starting is half the battle!

Hey, you're better than those who never started, right? Good for you for starting something you love, and great for you to share it! I think she looks great, and you'll cherish her always as your first custom. (Okay, some people cherish their first customs in a box in the closet, but still...)
