Hi everybody! My collection is on display at my local library for the month of January, so i have some pictures to share! i couldn’t fit them all in the display case, but this is most of them. I only have about 350-400 ponies.

Yes our library has a large display case that they change out every month. Sometimes it’s something done by the the library, but they also have things from the community. ( For example, the local gardening club did a display, another time it was a man who did little animal woodcarvings, once it was a collection of vintage Pride and Prejudice books and merch). I used to work at this library, and they knew I had a pony collection, so once when they needed a last minute display, the asked me to put them in. It was really popular, so this is actually the third time I’ve displayed them there, over the last 6 years or so. People really love to look at ponies. :happyhearts: It’s so great to see people come in and their eyes light up…..mothers showing their kids the ones they had when they were young, kids trying to count them all, or pick out their favorite. It really makes you feel good about all the money and time you’ve spent on your collection, to see oyher people enjoy it as much as you do, for once. :DI feel very fortunate to have this opportunity.

Absolutely stunning! My mom works at a library so I've thought about doing a display before, but maybe just a few pieces. You set them up so beautifully!
 
What a wonderful idea! I've often thought about how our collections are often enough to be considered a toy museum and that it's almost a shame they can't be shared with the public in such a way. Display at a library seems like a lovely alternative to that and it's so neat that your local library enjoys displaying them!

Thank you! Last time I showed them, I put them in chronological order. This time I decided to group them by pose, and I love how it turned out!
 
Woahhh thats cool! I would lose my mind if I saw that irl lol. Ponies “in the wild“ are so cool to see
