My 1st custom in many years

It’s been many years since I made a custom. I found out my hands aren’t as steady as they used to be and my eyes do not like small details. That said she didn’t turn out as I envisioned her but she is still pretty cool.

She was a G3 styling pony. I carved / scraped the lightning details into her plastic. I added little LED lights inside her body and down her leg. I wish the body color had blocked out the light, that way only the bolts would light up. Oh well, still cool.

I unfortunately do not have a picture of her lit up and complete due to the batteries dying. I’ll get some tomorrow and post an update. Please enjoy the pictures and feel free to give your opinions.

Woah, what a cool idea! Very pretty, and I like that she looks both black and purple depending on the lighting

She was fun to make and got the creative juices flowing. Now I just need to get motivate. lol
 
I love her! Tbf, my hands and eyes aren't what they used to be either when it comes to detail work on ponies. I think it's awesome she has an LED body, too! Wow!
 
This is so cool! How big is a g3 styling pony compared to a regular one?
 
Such a cool idea for a pony! I think it’s okay that the rest of the pony is lighting up too. When I’ve filmed lightening storms and looked at the exact frame it struck at, the rest of the sky and the surrounding areas have lit up too so I think this is still great. I know what you was trying to do though and it still would’ve looked cool!

I’d say about 2 and a bit G3 ponies stacked on top of each other

ponies in a trench coat, This made me laugh so much. I see the custom now.

I got batteries so I’ll take pictures tonight and post them.
