Mimic's Collection (mildly pic heavy!)

With the cold, bland winter days approaching, I decided my room needed to be a bit more colorful!

I have a large bookshelf behind my door, that is perfectly pony-sized. And being behind a door, it helps prevent UV light from reaching them.

So, I booted the purses into the closet, the beauty products onto my dresser, and art and guitar textbooks into a bin for temporary (but easy access!) storage.

This took a lot... longer than expected. I genuinely had no idea I have this many toys; in my mind it was 'just a few.' Yeah, right...
A few things were put back in storage, namely my Barbies and Breyers. My customs aren't here either; they'll be featured another time.
By most standards this is a tiny collection, but in our shared 800 sq. ft. house, it's pretty substantial! I had over 200 ponies at one point, but downsizing to a much smaller house made me pick favorites. I'll openly confess I miss my G3s.

I love seeing these guys back on display! They won't be out permanently, as I like having my books on that shelf, but maybe I can consider getting another for books at some point. I need better furniture.

i see the LPS and beanies i sent you! this is such a cute display! i wish i had a nice bookshelf like that for my ponies for now i just have 3 long wobbly shelves on my wall.

Is that Rudolph the first release of him from Build-A-Bear?
I absolutely love Rudolph. I had a toy of him but not that one and I had the opportunity as a kid to get him. I turned it down because I had a Rudolph teddy and didn’t want double or the other one getting jealous… I regretted it and didn’t like the newer releases of him because of the fur texture

That aside, your collections look really nice all the plushies look so soft and cuddly. I like the way they’re displayed. I had no idea Good Morning Sunshine’s eyelids can turn yellow

i love the sock kitty! never seen one before. I do not like sock monkeys lol.. we did once find a sock elephant though at goodwill!
