Hi all! Buffy is the MOST patient commissioner ever! These gals took me six months!
She had an image of an adult Medley laying with a baby Wysteria with a wing covering the baby. Lovely artwork, but sadly the link doesn't work for me anymore. She wanted G3s. Sparkleworks and Baby Romperooni were very happy to be selected...until the exacto knife came out lol.

My hand included just for Okiegurl
Medley: Hair is Lucky Clover (a bit tricky to repose with real hair, but not impossible). She features four completely reposed legs to match the reference image. Her body leans back a bit the way I imagine the weight would shift when holding a wing over a baby. Her wings were carefully sculpted with apoxie. The front wing is smooth underneath so as not to snag up the baby. I love love love the color! It might not be a perfect match as I have no Medley and now no reference image lol. She shimmers like the G3 do! I used a ton of iridescent paint mixed into a high quality acrylic base color.
Wysteria: Hair is Virgin Snow, Pussycat, and Wysteria. She features one reposed hoof and three sculpted from scratch. G3 babies have ridiculously large hooves! I couldn't get any realism out of them, so I had to make my own a bit scaled down. Her paint is also shimmery like her "momma's". Both ponies feature G3 style eyes complete with color streak.
