CONVENTION Maryland Pony Meet: April 27th 2024 -- TICKET SALES END on 4/21!

We've got a BIG surprise for you this year!

This video project is a collaboration between 4 MDPM members:

@roserebellion worked on these plush ponies in secret for more than 6 months before surprising me with them as meet prizes. They are all 100% handmade, soft and huggable, and have nice heavy beanbag feet.

Alison M. masterfully stepped in to provide the singing vocals when it was discovered that I sustained some vocal cord damage as a result of the current phase of my illness. With almost no notice, she jumped in and recorded herself singing... with herself!

@rowdy_cowgirl graciously loaned and trusted me with her very own Rockin' Beats ponies, since mine are in storage.

And @MustBeJewel (me!) had my heart set on doing the voiceover narration, so I pushed through that, learned how to greenscreen, and did, well, everything else.

Please enjoy our crazy little 80's commercial spoof, and get ready for your chance to take home one (or more!) of these beautiful one-of-a-kind creations by @roserebellion! <3

Such amazing work! I said a naughty word in surprise when I saw how big they were! XD both the plush and commercial are super cute. <3

I was supposed to price things today but I’m on the heel end of covid and I’m still tired. XD also we have to board Lucy (aka kitty jail) for the meet, and it’s only the second time, and I’m just as ready as I was the first time. Which is not at all. XD

splat a pic of po on the wall so i can be there too xD

Yeah, pricing everything has taken the longest. Hopefully all pricing will be completed tomorrow.

I’m jealous of all the fun about to be had and I plan on living vicariously through @ParadiseDreams and everyone else who shares pictures and anecdotes through the weekend.

I’ll be at a non-pony con in Vegas this weekend so I’ll be too busy to feel too sorry for myself. Hope everyone has a blast!!!

Today I stopped by my local Five Below and Burlington to see if there was any last-minute pony stuff I could grab for prize donations but man, it looked like a tornado went through those stores. Stuff thrown all over the shelves and on the ground, boxes laying all across the aisles. No pony stuff to be found anywhere, or perhaps I just couldn't find it among all the chaos. Oh well.

Almost done pricing! We have some things I’m not comfortable slapping stickers on like the soft cover books (even though the stickers aren’t necessarily the stickiest, they’re supposed to be easy peel), but that should be easy to tell people the prices.

I have a few more chores to do, some last-minute things to round up for sale, and then tonight is clean the kitty litter box, shower, paint nails, pack, and then tomorrow we bring Lucy to boarding and then hit the road. We hope to be there early enough to work on setting up Friday night! <3

Lucy tax! “Momther, must I go to kitty jail?”

Oh! It's coming up soon!
I hope you all have a really fun event. I'm sorry to miss it, especially given this year's theme. Rockin' Beats is so cool. Please share photos if you can!!

I'm so sad I'm gonna be at a stupid wedding instead of at MDPM this weekend :( you guys have fun for me! You would think a REAL best friend would consider MY pony time when they made their nuptial plans

If you don't have hundreds to price, you could make little paper obi like Japanese books have.

Someday I need to make it up to Maryland and at least visit D.C. but ...95. This year is work stuff that had been scheduled for a while for both last and next Saturday.

Yeah we hit some pockets of traffic so we hope to be there by 5:30 tonight just to drop off stuff. We can never arrive early no matter how hard we try. >.<

I avoid 95 at all costs, going to MD I usually take 301, speed limit is lower in places but it's a much easier, relaxing drive and puts you around the DC traffic.
