After many years of inactivity, i am looking to sell off my collection.

What is the best methods in your opinion?

Tried some items on ebay...they havent done well

Listed on craigslist. Got 1 lowball offer locally and several offers requesting i ship. Is this safe presuming i use paypal nongift and wait for money first?

Alson how do i verify the cl offer is from a member like they say? Anyone can claim to be a paricular member.... I suppose i can just msg the member here to cross check...

Selling on here and the MLP Arena are good options. But using paypal, accept the money (non-gift because with gift no claim can be filed if something goes wrong) first before shipping. I would use eBay for the sought-after items. They tend to sell well there. If you had sold before Christmas, they would have gone fast, but soon, when people get their tax refunds, they will be buying ponies again, so you might want to wait it out.

The only way you can really verify anything is from a member if you talk to a mod or admin. They know people's real names. Otherwise we don't use names here.

Any list of sought after ponies (other than mimic I guess....and no I dont have mimic...) readily available?

And do i just make an album of sales item and then make post with link in sales forum? Is that how it still works?
 
Yes you can make an album of sales items and post with a link or you can post pics with prices in the sales forum or you can post pics and take offers.

There are a lot of HTF, sought after ponies: Rapunzel, Mimic, the TAF Babies, the pearlized babies, Diamond Dreams, Nightglider, many of the ponies that weren't offered in the U.S., etc. It would probably be easier to list what you have and for us to tell you if they're HTF than for us to list which ones are HTF.
 
I know i have Nightglider. I have a spreadsheet list somewhere....posting a list sounds good. I shall try to do that.
