Pony bases are generation 4 Princess poses. I boiled the ponies to loosen the plastic and severed off the wings and horns. Used Gesso as a base coat to prep for the acrylic paint work. Full body repainst in fleshtone acrylics, eyes painted in my anime/realism-fusion style. Also cut the ears off and make leather ears which are painted. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Manes and tails are re-rooted via re-hair tool.

Zelda’s hair pigments: dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the colors goldilocks, tiramisu, custom blended golden delicious/butter pecan and RetrodollUS’s nylon hair in the colors swiss miss and jonquil.

Link’s hair pigments: dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the colors tiramisu, custom blend of golden delicious and butter pecan then RetrodollUS’s nylon pale yellow jonquil and saran platinum blonde.

Zelda’s outfit- started with the boot armor while I waited on hair to arrive through mail. Black underleggings are wide black ribbon, with gold acrylic detailing. Boot armor is gold faux vinyl in 3 pieces, hand-stitched, detailed in gold and silver acrylics, silver wire, chain and strips of silver faux vinyl. Soles are beige leather.

Lined soles with strips of gold faux leather.

Front leg armor crafted in similar methods as hind leg armor. Same with chest plate, flank and shoulder armor.

Hand-stitched pale lavender corset and shorts. Corset has mauve and dark purple hemp cord stitched on to detail.Used black wide ribbon for under layer on front legs.

Pink skirt and sleeve details are cut from a thin pink material, skirt flaps have a over-layer of wide sheer ribbon that fades from light pink at the top to magenta at the bottom. Hemmed the bottom with gold elastic trim and wire gold ribbon. Long black triangular piece in the middle is hand-painted in acrylic paints as well as the pink skirt flaps.

Aqua tear-shaped beads stitched to finish, and repeated on front of shoulder armor, earrings and hair piece.

Zelda’s crown is crafted from is crafted from a strip of golden spikes on chain. 3 Large gold spikes wired on for accurate detail, a line of pink chain wired along the bottom. Some gold faux vinyl cut at the front with pink rhinestone and a gold tear-drop trinket at the front of the crown.

Various beads, spikes, chains, metal bits and cording used to detail rest of the hair.

Link’s outfit-

Started with the beige underlayer. Cut pants and undershirt from off white leather. Punched holes for seams with a leather puncher, hand-stitched hems and did a cross stitch of thick white leather thread at the neck.

Next, I did the boots and gauntlets. Did base layers of cerulean blue bias tape then layered thin brown deerskin leather, cow split leather, hand stitched brown silk ribbon detail and brown bias tape. Did some brown acrylic detailing on parts and silver metal wire buckles.

First layer of the tunic was prepped of gold mesh fishnet material I painted in gray, silver and glitter acrylics. Stitched it over gray ribbon.

Then took bright green cotton material and cut out the pieces for the tunic. Hand-stitched hem of gold ribbon trim, lined that with medium green ribbon, then stitched over the silver chain mail. Did some subtle green acrylic paint detail on the bottom of the tunic.

Crafted the belts, straps, and belt pouches from the brown cow split leather. Punched all the holes for stitched with leather puncher, shaped more silver buckles from silver wire, finished it all off with round gold and brown rhinestone details.

Shoulder armor- Cut the pieces from faux alligator print silver vinyl and plain silver vinyl stitched over top for the edges. Stitched to the tunic.

Scarf was crafted next, is the cerulean bias tape with two sizes of red silk ribbon stitched at the end of it, and Hylian Triforce crest hand painted in acrylics. Scarf stitched in place.

Hat- hand-stitched from the same bright green cotton material.

Disclaimer- leather pieces are subject to sun fading. Do not display customs with leather details in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Just like synthetic hair, leather is prone to losing color if exposed to UV rays~

(found this out after displaying some customs in a storefront and they were in same spot for about half a year exposed to constant sun.)

One of these days I will sell Action Hank and buy one of your customs. He'll be fine...

Those are way cool! I love the outfits, and all the sculpted details. :) Good luck with selling them!

No sculpt work~ all durable leather

Ahh, my mistake for not reading closely enough! Anyway, it looks great. :)

No prob and thanks! I like leather cause it ables me to craft limitlessly very similar to sculpting but minus the hardening.
