OK, so I've kept her secret out of respect to the custom clothing contest, but now that the winners have been announced, I can show off my and Dykeseduyo's hard work. I comissioned this beautiful kimono for Nyoko- my latest Asian inspired pony. Her symbol means "treasure" and the background is modeled after fabric designs. tell me what you think!

I'm afraid the pictures could be better- it was a very sunny day so I had to take the pictures in the shade...which ended up making her look almost blue!
 
Beautiful. I love the way you do your Asian symbols with the patterning in the background. And hat off to Dykeseduyo on the kimono (and I assume the accessories?) as well. Everything comes together wonderfully and that fan? Crowning touch.

She's absolutely gorgeous! I love the hairstyle, and the layers of the symbol give it great texture. That kimono is beautiful, too!

yep, she did the wonderful hairpieces and fan too- they are a beautiful touh in my opinion, and even my mother said that Dykeseduyo is an artisan :)
 
She is fantastic! I have been wanting to do a Chinese custom for a friend of mine (we've made friends w/ some Chinese pple that own a Chinese restaurant), but I tried to make an outfit once, failed, and gave up. :oops: I could never come close to that gorgeous! o_O
