how to fade

i was wonder how i can fade my pony.. i had the thought to leave it in the sun or under a bright light, but i don't wont any discoloration (yellowing) maybe a florescent bulb?? i also thought of boiling bleach but that might be very smelly and although it will kill the rust/mold i haven't ever had it fade a pony..

i know this is realy odd.. but i can't paint the pony and i can't die the pony.. it absolutely most be faded for this project..

any suggsts welcome
 
also

it is a green/turquoise color with already faded spots..
