A couple of weeks ago I posted this Lanard in the fakies thread [post] that I didn’t buy. I had a trip to the next town over and I didn’t feel I needed that pony. Also, I am not big on fakies but afterwards I did keep remembering the Lanard and I did like the pony. In fact, at the time I did actually consider buying it but Christmas was coming and I was supposed to be Christmas shopping.

Well yesterday we went back out to that town and I had a look around. There was the Lanard, still in the shop, not found a home for Christmas. I decided I’ll not miss the opportunity to bring the pony home for the new year. Whilst washing I decided to name the pony Hershey, Hershey Lanard. I don’t actually eat those chocolates but the name came to me and felt fitting. Christmas chocolate

I really like the face mould on this fakie. Whilst washing I lost some of the tail. I did put some back in and glued inside when it dried though. I wanted to try to put a ribbon on the tail but it didn’t look right, probably with how it’s been rooted. I tried around the bottom of the tail as well and then the neck, still wouldn’t tie right. Then I tied it as a tie and it seemed to work better

Hershey didn’t actually need much doing apart from a simple wash and brush. A small clean and nothing else. Inside was really clean already too

Pony has a home and a lovely makeover :D

I picked up some cheap fakies at the thrift this week to practice doing customs. Fakies need love, too! ☺️

Hershey thanks you all :flutter2:

Having a natural tone pony makes a nice change from the multicolour ones
