Okay, I summoned up the nerve to put a custom up on eBay.

This is "Hematite Dreamer." She has over 400 hematite beads in her mane and tail. :)

Absolutely love your beadwork and just the whole statue-esque-ness with the burnished silver idea!

Just caught in this pic the use of wire for thread = smart to not need a tool but be able to easily "re-hair" (great solution) :)

Thanks. I've got my fingers crossed on the ebay sale.

The wire is beading wire, for those who don't know beads -- I'm assuming maycrestmom does. *grin* It's fairly flexible -- it's the same stuff I use for necklaces with heavier beads.

The first pony I did had the beads strung on silver thread. I decided I was not that masochistic this time around.
