Help? Ideas needed please. :(

Well, my boyfriend's Mom wanted a custom pony from me for christmas, but she understood that I wasn't able to get to it from the moving and packing. Well, now I have my room all set up the way I want, and I actually have the time to work on a pony for her!! She wanted a white pony, with gold incorporated and I was thinking of adding a splash of purples in her because that's her favorite color! For the gold, I intend on using Gold Leaf paint.

I just need help on ..well..designs. I've been too medicated lately to really put thought into a design..and I'm not sure how to go about making the actual pony. *sigh*

Would a henna type of pony be..too much? I know so many people have done those types ...but other than that, right now..I'm not sure what to do!! I'm so frustrated. I'm going to joanns to get the gold leaf today..and I was hoping to work on her over the weekend. Any help would be great!!

She love butterflies huh? What if you did a white pony with the gold leaf as some sort of grain like plant and you could have a purple butterfly with gold accents flying across the bum near the golden grain and to incorporate a hennaish feel maybe make the dashed lines like the butterfly was flying. Just an idea - can't wait to see what you come up with.

Note about Gold Leaf - don't know if you have ever used this stuff but I have - be careful not to touch after leaf has dried because it is still tacky - make sure you seal quickly so fingerprints in the gold leaf won't be a problem.

>.< Yeah, I've worked with Silver leafing..but it was the liquid kind. I'm not sure though, if I want to use liquid or the paper. I might get a bit of both, and play around with both.

I'm at work..and for some ODD reason I decided to print out a pony lineart..and I think I have what I want! Lol.

Stupid brain. I can't wait to show you guys my idea now. I'd still love to hear more before I start working. ^_^
