Hi, I’ve been on here for a little bit but I just realized I forgot to make an introduction!
My name is Rachel and I’ve been collecting since (I believe?) March of last year, I collected ponies when I was a kid but kids can be mean and I was made fun of for it so I stopped. But I was at a comic convention with some friends last year and I found a booth selling ponies and I was just compelled or something to buy some! And that restarted my pony obsession lol.
Aside from ponies, I like comic books, animation, film, and painting.

I used to get made fun of too, which is silly, cos they were kids too. Barbies were ok, but not ponies.

Kids can be mean or at least too anxious to veer from the herd; especially when you get to a certain age and everyone unanimously decides that it's time to hate everything you all loved and move onto "adult things"

I'm so happy that you rediscovered ponies while out having fun with your friends! Were they retro ponies or brand new releases?

What kind of comics do you like, like what genre/series? Do you prefer classic hand-drawn animation or a more digital approach? What genre of film and what kinds of things do you like to paint?

Thank you for the warm welcome and all the questions!
There were G1s from a vintage toy booth!
I’m mostly into superhero comics, my favorites are the X-Men, Ms Marvel, and the Runaways!
I prefer older 2D animation, especially older children’s shows like Moomin and Jem.
I watch all sorts of movies but my favorite genres are horror and screwball comedy! Right now I’ve been painting a lot of backgrounds!
